3/4/14 - Acquisition - Hartford, Wadsworth Atheneum - L’Atheneum Museum a acheté, par l’intermédiaire de Christie’s New York, un Autoportrait au luth d’Artemisia Gentileschi. Si les tableaux attribués à cet artiste font souvent l’objet de débats entre les différents spécialistes, celui-ci, redécouvert en 1998, semble faire l’unanimité autour de lui. Il a été publié par Gianni Papi en 2000 et a figuré dans la rétrospective de 2011 et 2012 à Milan et à Paris au Musée Maillol par Roberto Contini et Francesco Solinas.
