19/7/13 - Acquisition - Édimbourg, National Galleries of Scotland - Considérée comme une icône de la peinture écossaise du XIXe siècle, la toile de Sir James Guthrie intitulée Dans le verger se trouve depuis quelques jours aux National Galleries of Scotland, qui l’ont acquise en partenariat avec le Glasgow City Council [1] lors de la vente organisée par Sotheby’s le 13 novembre 2012. Cette œuvre sera donc exposée alternativement à Edimbourg et à Glasgow ; après avoir été présentée aux National Galleries of Scotland, elle rejoindra Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. On peut d’ailleurs s’en inquiéter…
