9/4/07 – Vandalisme – Milwaukee, Art Museum – Un tableau d’Ottavio Vannini, peintre florentin du XVIIe siècle, représentant David tenant la tête de Goliath (ill.), a été vandalisé par un visiteur au Milwaukee Art Museum, mercredi dernier. Celui-ci, qui s’est déclaré : « dérangé par la vision d’un homme tenant la tête d’un autre », a décroché la toile et lui a donné de grands coups de pieds. Celle-ci serait percée, mais restaurable [1].
