Un pastel de Charles-Antoine Coypel mal identifié réapparaît à Drouot
15/6/18 - Découverte - Paris, Marché de l’Art - Le pastel était présenté aujourd’hui salle 4 à l’hôtel Drouot, chez Pescheteau-Badin, comme une école française du début du XIXe siècle, et estimé 800 à 1200 €. Il s’est envolé à 190 000 € (prix marteau). Il s’agissait en réalité d’un Autoportrait de Charles-Antoine Coypel (ill. 1) comme nous l’a signalé immédiatement après la vente Pierre Jacky qui avait, comme d’autres, remarqué l’œuvre et l’avait correctement attribuée.
