Les attributions se font et se défont depuis la création en 2010, du BRCP, the Bosch Research and Conservation Project. Ce groupe international de chercheurs, restaurateurs et conservateurs a entrepris d’analyser les œuvres de Jérôme Bosch et de son entourage, en prévision du 500e anniversaire - de sa mort - en 2016, actuellement fêté dans sa ville - natale - Bois-le-Duc, par une exposition « Jérôme Bosch, Visions d’un génie » au Musée…
