Depuis quelques jours, une polémique faisait rage entre la National Gallery of Ireland et une italienne, Maria Letizia Paoletti, présentée par la presse anglaise comme une « art expert », à propos du caractère authentique de l’Arrestation du Christ (ill. 1) redécouvert et déposé au musée depuis une dizaine d’années.
