Deux portraits par Henry Raeburn pour les National Galleries of Scotland

24/9/18 - Acquisition - Edimbourg, National Galleries of Scotland - Deux portraits ont rejoint les National Galleries of Scotland, grâce au processus de l’acceptance in lieu, équivalent de la dation française, qui permet de payer l’impôt sur la succession avec des œuvres d’art. Les deux peintures sont du portraitiste écossais Henry Raeburn. Elles sont issues de la Forbes of Pitsligo Collection et ont été données pour payer des droits de succession de 631 600 livres.
