74 dessins anciens donnés par Andrea Woodner à la National Gallery de Washington

30/6/06 – Acquisitions – Washington, National Gallery – A la mort de Ian Woodner en 1990, ses deux filles, Dian et Andrea, héritèrent d’une collection d’environ un millier de dessins. Dès 1991, 145 furent déposés à la National Gallery et, entre 1991 et 2005, 44 furent offerts à ce musée. En 2006, Andrea Woodner a donné 74 œuvres supplémentaires, couvrant un champ chronologique du XIVe siècle, avec un Saint Christophe d’un artiste anonyme autrichien, au XIXe avec un Gustave Moreau.
